The Upgraded Chevy Blazer

The 2020 Chevrolet Blazer is the latest in a line of new and exciting crossover SUVs. This particular model has many attractive attributes for prospective car buyers. The Chevy brand itself is known for engineering highly functional vehicles. This model echoes that sentiment completely. The 2020 Chevy Blazer comes with more than enough space to make a road trip — or even a simple drive around town — seem highly comfortable.

Many parties interested in this vehicle may have families. As such, transporting items to and from events (such as sporting equipment, musical instruments, or luggage) will be a point of emphasis. The 2020 Chevy Blazer offers ample cargo space (a max of 64.2 cubic feet) for those in need of it.

There are six available configurations of this year’s Blazer. They include the L, RS, and Premier. The L can be had for a low as $28,000. The Premier operates on the other end of the spectrum at an affordable $42,700 (though it’ll be $45,600 with all-wheel drive). Base model 1LT is fashioned with a Ecotec 2.5-Liter engine (193-HP, 9-speed automatic transmission). For more powerful models, the ’20 Blazer offers 3.6-Liter V6 engines with a whopping 305-HP on the RS and Premier models. Additionally, the 2LT and 3LT feature a standard 2.0L Turbo that is new for 2020 (230 HP). The car gets approximately 19 miles-per-gallon in city driving, and 26 miles-per-gallon on the highway.

Aesthetically, the 2020 Blazer employs bold features. The large front grille offers much in the way of a statement piece. The ’20 Blazer offer wheels in the ballpark of 18-to-21 inches in diameter. Aggressive styling in regards to LED lighting give the car a more sleek and modern look. The base model comes in only three colors (summit white, black, silver ice metallic) — though every other option comes with 8-to-10 exterior colors (including Cajun Red Tricoat, Iridescent Pearl Tricoat, Graphite Metallic, Silver Ice Metallic, Nightfall Gray Metallic, and Red Hot).

The 2020 Chevy Blazer also has a revamped interior cabin — particularly in terms of technological advancements. Each vehicle has six USB ports, and a glovebox that will open electronically. The handsome 8″ diagonal touchscreen is accentuated further by Apple CarPlay/Android Auto capabilities and available 4G LTE WiFi Hotspot. From a safety standpoint, there are a number of measures (rear-cross traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist with lane-departure warning) that allow for a reassuring trip. Furthermore, Chevy has expanded the it’s Traction Select System. When equipped, drivers have the ability to adjust vehicle performance between 2WD, AWD, Sport, Tow/Haul and Off-Road, with the simple turn of a dial.

Simply put, the 2020 Chevy Blazer is a bolder version of it’s predicessor, the 2019 Chevy Blazer crossover SUV. It has the best in terms of sophistication — though it also offers the practical elements deemed necessary for a trustworthy vehicle.
